| "My beloved Ernie
is an 11 year old appendix quarter horse. Prior to receiving his first
natural trim he had been shod in the front over most of his life. He had
become virtually unrideable and walked with a painful short gait. He was
used for little more than gentle hacking. I tried pads to help alleviate
the pain but without success. I started to do some research and found
Carolyn. What I read about the natural trim made intuitive sense to me
and I contacted Carolyn for assistance.
She did his first trim in January 2005 and he has made an unbelievable recovery. With now only two trims, he is walking pain free and has regained his joie de vivre. He is moving freely and strides out with comfort. He has even resumed jumping! I anticipate that he will continue to make gains and I fully expect that he will be able to return to his former competitive days and make a nice hunter for my daughter. Most of all I look forward to many more years with a horse that is such a dear friend to me. Stacey" |
